Before Desi Tax, I worked at Starbucks, then at a chiropractor’s office, and then I was introduced to the tax world.
I had no background in taxes but I was fascinated! So, I began studying the tax code during my free time to pass the required tests to become a tax professional and, spoiler alert– I passed them!
I spent multiple attempts trying to work for a reputable tax firm, wasting hours and dollars I’ll never get back.
Then I realized I could work for myself

While some say legitimizing your business is boring, it’s arguably THE most important part and we’ll have fun doing it! You’ll learn how to set up your business, get a domain and website, and learn how to protect your business with legal contracts that weren’t copy and pasted from your competitors. If this part of your business isn’t done properly, everything else will be affected.

Roadmap mapping
We’ll explore the importance of client experience & finding a niche as experienced bookkeepers (in a way that doesn’t make you roll your eyes and say “I’ve already heard all this.”) We venture into the psych behind where you are now, why you’re here, where you want to be, and exactly how to get there.
Week 3

From capturing signatures, marketing your offers, and email communication to taking client notes, video recording, and task management– I’m breaking down the essential tech systems you need to streamline your business and make work less, well, sucky.
